Warriors resting all their top players today against the Spurs. It seems like they always screw over San Antonio fans who pay for tickets and presumably want to see guys like Steph Curry play.

I appreciate the fact that it's a long gruelling season and wear and tear must be insane, but what the fuck dude?

I'm sure a lot of people that work 8 or more hours a day at hard labor can take it 5 days straight for years and these morons, especially in today's less physical NBA, have to rest on back ot back nights.

I feel for the fans.

Meh. Having said that, I'll be on Spurs ML + Colorado Avs ML + Vegas GoldenKnights ML. Square af but meh.

This is 1 of these faux-outrage issues that gets blown up that I can't say I care about. The NBA regular season sucked 10 years ago, it sucked 20 years ago, it sucked 30 years ago. Whether Steph Curry plays on a random Tuesday in Feb doesn't change that all that much, as far as people buying tickets then don't go if you think it is that big of a risk. It is a free market, stay home.

I do think the NBA is in decline as far as cultural zeitgeist goes though, gonna trend more towards niche like NHL/MLB, especially once the stars of the current era fade away (Curry, Bron, KD specifically)

But much like MLB/NHL, everyone involved will still make a fuck ton of money.
